I’ve been the Director of the RSC@OKC Innovation Station since 2015 when the facility was still under construction and renovation. I’ve worked at Rose since 2005 and prior to the Innovation Station, I was a full time faculty member and before that, an academic advisor.
I have associate degrees from the University of Maryland and Rose State College; my bachelor’s degree is from UCO; I have an MBA from OCU and an M.Ed from OU. I am currently working on my dissertation for my Ph.D. at the University of Oklahoma, with a focus on Educational Leadership and Policy Studies and Community College Administration. I’m also a certified Master Facilitator for Lego Serious Play.
I have received awards and recognition from Oklahoma Association of Community Colleges, Oklahoma Women in Higher Education, Association of Continuing Higher Education, and recognized by the Journal Record as a 2017 “Achiever Under 40”.
I have presented at several regional, state, and national conferences, including Oklahoma Association of Academic Advisors, Oklahoma Association of Community Colleges, Oklahoma Women in Higher Education, Women in the Academy (Baylor University), College and University Professional Association for Human Resources, Achieving the Dream, and Oklahoma Women in Technology.
I serve on the council for the Greater OKC YMCA and as an interim board member for Urban Neighbors.
